For the Hoosier state, the month of May is all about "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing," the Indianapolis 500. Well, once upon a time, it was a month long event; now it's a little over a week. Nonetheless, tens of thousands come from all over the globe to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana, on the Sunday before Memorial Day to revel in pure unadulterated speed!

February Update

We decided that a post to these pages was long overdue, after all, four months is a long time!

So, let us tick off the various events that have encompassed many lives:

1) The election. Change is coming, but the question is what kind of change and how soon?
2) Merry Christmas! We hope you enjoyed the season.
3) Happy New Year and one that is lucky for all.
4) Back to change ... it's all around us and constant. Hang on!

Additionally, we've decided to make the Ronald Reagan speech a permanent part of this page (now available here). The reason? It seems that it doesn't matter which political party you affiliate yourself with or what your personal ideologies are - the challenges mentioned by former President Reagan have only grown worse!

When Reagan became president he also spent too much; like his Democratic and Republican predecessors. This video is offered as nothing more than food for thought, because we don't care what side of any line any one person may fall ... our question is what has taken us so long?? Pure silliness ... so the "Reagan Offering" suggests that while change is a constant, nothing has changed!! It seems that it's not likely to in the near future ... so sad.
